Not a place to do anything half-heartedly, Ocean Park in Hong Kong pulls out all the stops for the Halloween period. From spectacular decorations to actors and actresses running around to scare people after dark, Ocean Park is definitely worth a visit for fans of All Hallows Eve. Halloween has always been my favourite holiday, especially back in the U.K. where the leaves change for Autumn and the cold begins to set in. Hong Kong however, is another story. By October the heat has started to subside a little but the humidity is still relatively high. The sweat factor is enormous and one has to respect the performers and workers who are able to withstand the 35 degree heat in full costume, some whilst both in costume and doing acrobatic manoeuvres for the thousands of visitors. It comes as no surprise then that the performers take even the smallest opportunity for a quick break in the sweltering heat.
